1. What does a SemesterAbroad program hope to achieve?
The program is intended to allow students to have an educational experience not ordinarily available through the home school system through immersion in a foreign country and culture.
2. How does one apply for the program?
Potential participants initiate the application process while the school works with the student in developing an appropriately tailored application that would meet the program’s requirements. Students usually submit a statement of interest indicating the reason where, what and why they want to study abroad.
3. How can I identify an appropriate school for a semester abroad?
Students are encouraged to contact other students who have had the opportunity to participate in the program or to check with one’s local school for a list of schools recognised as strong institutions.
